Couloir on Laudate Singers “Luminous Voices” concert – December 10

Couloir performs my harp and cello duo Three Meditations on Light as well as other pieces on the Laudate Singers concert, Luminous Voices, which takes place Saturday December 10, 2011 at 8pm, St Andrew’s United Church, 1044 St Georges, North Vancouver.

Lars Kaario conducts this candlelight concert including new music by Bruce Sled, Andrei Diaconu, and Taymaz Sabahis, as well as various  Christmas classics. More info here, plus here’s what David Gordon Duke of the Vancouver Sun Has to say about the concert:

“No, that isn’t a typo: St. Andrew’s in North Van is the venue for a Laudate Singers program rich in potential discoveries. First of all, the choir’s guests are the new duo Couloir – harpist Heidi Kruzen and cellist Ariel Barnes. Then there’s new music, including Bruce Sled’s to name the moon and Jocelyn Morlock’s Three Meditations on Light. If you prefer your seasonal concerts on the adventurous side, this may well be for you.”
