Friday, August 5, 2011 7:00PM – The Ricordanza Chamber Music Festival in Victoria, BC starts tonight! This years festival sees the return of the founding Canadian trio, The Ricordanza Trio, featuring Carole Bestvater, violin; Shiori Kobayashi, clarinet; and Frank Chu, piano; who will be joined by Danielle Sametz, violin; Elizabeth Massi, viola; Alexa Pilon, ‘cello; Kathleen Morrison, soprano; and Victoria’s premier Chamber Choir, Vox Humana under the direction of Brian Wismath.
Tonight’s concert features music of Schubert, Brahms, Britten, Morlock (Halcyon for cello and piano) and Khachaturian.
